Transport Canada employs the Civil Aviation Daily Occurrence Reporting System (CADORS) to gather and record aviation occurrence data. The primary objective of this system is to furnish preliminary information regarding incidents involving Canadian-registered aircraft and events transpiring at Canadian airports, within Canadian sovereign airspace, or within international airspace for which Canada has assumed responsibility.
In Canada, the Transportation Safety Board is the designated official source for collecting and maintaining aviation accident and incident data.
This annual report is a compilation of data extracted from the aforementioned reporting system. It is designed to discern and analyze trends pertaining to various categories of aerial vehicles, including Drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and potentially Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO / UAP), for the reporting year 2021.
