Justin Trudeau Allows US to Shoot Down UFO in Canadian Airspace
START TRANSCRIPT
“Yesterday, NORAD confirmed that an unidentified object entered, unlawfully, Canadian airspace. It represented a reasonable threat to civilian aircraft, so I gave the order to take it down. Canadian and American fighter jets were scrambled, and an American F-22 successfully shot down the object. Recovery teams are on the ground looking to find and analyze the object.
Yesterday afternoon, I also spoke with President Biden and confirmed together that we will continue to do everything necessary to protect the sovereignty of our shared North American airspace, but also to do everything necessary to keep our citizens safe.”

Readout of President Biden’s Call with Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada
“Earlier today, President Biden spoke with Prime Minister Trudeau on the unidentified, unmanned object in North American air space. The object was closely tracked and monitored by North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) over the last 24 hours and the President has been continually briefed by his national security team since the object was detected. Out of an abundance of caution and at the recommendation of their militaries, President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau authorized it to be taken down. President Biden authorized US fighter aircraft assigned to NORAD to conduct the operation and a US F-22 shot down the object in Canadian territory in close coordination with Canadian authorities. The leaders discussed the importance of recovering the object in order to determine more details on its purpose or origin. President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau commended NORAD’s and U.S. Northern Command’s strong and effective partnership and agreed to continue their close coordination to detect, track, and defend our airspace.”

Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand – February 11
“Today at the direction of the Prime Minister aircraft assigned to Norad had successfully took down this high-altitude airborne object at approximately 3:41 PM Eastern Standard Time.
To the best of our knowledge, this was the first time that a NORAD operation has downed an aerial object. The object was flying at an altitude of approximately 40,000 feet, had unlawfully entered Canadian airspace and posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian life. The object was downed approximately 100 miles from the Canada/United States border over Canadian territory in central Yukon.
In collaboration with our partners, including recovery operations are now underway and will be supported by the Canadian Armed forces in conjunction with the RCMP. This coordinated operation will allow a further investigation into this object. We have no further details about the object at this time, other than it appears to be a small cylindrical object.
We will make sure that analysis is thorough, and so it would not be prudent of me to speculate on the origins of the object at this time.”

Statement from Premier Pillai regarding high altitude object shot down over the Yukon
“Today, I was briefed by Minister of Public Safety Marco Mendocino and Minister of Northern Affairs Dan Vandal about the high altitude airborne object shot down over the Yukon. I also spoke with Minister of National Defence Anita Anand.
“We recognize events like these can generate concern, but I want to assure Yukoners that at no time was the safety of Yukoners at risk. I also want to commend the Prime Minister for taking decisive action to protect Yukoners and all Canadians.
“The federal government’s cooperative approach to information sharing is helpful as we work together to ensure Yukoners are kept informed and up to date about events as they transpire.”
